Town Showdown

Whitestown’s Town Showdown is back on September 19 from noon to 2 p.m., and we’re looking to keep the Golden Bike Wheel right here at home!

This friendly competition between Whitestown and Zionsville is all about community participation. The town with the highest turnout based on percentage of population takes home the trophy.

Whitestown residents are encouraged to wear blue and join Team Whitestown at the Big 4 Trailhead, 106 S. Main Street, beginning at 11 a.m. The group bike ride will leave at 11:15 a.m. for the 4.5-mile trip to Mulberry Fields Park in Zionsville.

You do not have to ride a bike to participate. Walk, run, scooter, or drive over and make sure to check in at the blue Whitestown Parks tent so your attendance counts toward Whitestown’s total.

The afternoon will also feature food trucks, family activities, bike safety checks, community booths, and more.

Come out, wear blue, and help Whitestown defend the Golden Bike Wheel!

Fall Encore Concert

Fall Encore Concert

One of the things I enjoy most about fall in Whitestown is seeing our community events continue even after the summer calendar begins to wind down.

On Friday, September 25, Whitestown is bringing the Summer Concert Series back to Main Street Park for a special Fall Encore.

The evening will include live music from Roughhouse Indy, local food vendors, face painting, caricature drawings, hayrides and plenty of other fall activities for families. The event is being presented by Fundae’s Ice Cream, another great local business that continues to invest in our community.

Activities begin at 6 p.m., with Roughhouse Indy taking the stage from 7–9 p.m.

Friday, September 25
Main Street Park, 4286 S. Main Street
Activities: 6–8 p.m.
Live Music: 7–9 p.m.

It should be a great opportunity to get outside, enjoy an early fall evening and spend some time with friends and neighbors right here in Whitestown.

Summer Concert Series

There's nothing quite like a summer evening in Whitestown. Our Summer Concert Series brings neighbors, friends, and families together to enjoy great live music, local food vendors, and a relaxing night in the park.

Whether you're dancing near the stage, enjoying dinner from a food truck, or simply spending time with friends on a lawn chair under the evening sky, these concerts are a great reminder of what makes Whitestown such a special community. I hope you'll join us this summer and enjoy one of my favorite annual traditions.

Whitestown Independence Day Celebration 2026

This year's Independence Day Celebration carries special significance as our nation marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. For 250 years, Americans have worked to build communities, expand opportunity, and pass on the blessings of liberty to future generations.

On July 3, Whitestown will come together to celebrate that remarkable milestone with live music, food vendors, bounce houses, family activities, and a spectacular fireworks display. I hope you'll join us as we celebrate not only our nation's history, but also the community spirit that continues to make Whitestown a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Happy America 250, and I'll see you on July 3!
