Dan Patterson
Whitestown Town Councilman, District 2
Working for thoughtful growth, strong public safety, responsible investment, and a more connected Whitestown.
Community. Opportunity. Vision.
Whitestown is growing, and the decisions we make today will shape our community for years to come. I believe growth should strengthen public safety, infrastructure, parks and trails, local businesses, and the everyday quality of life residents value.
My approach is straightforward: listen to residents, ask difficult questions, build productive partnerships, and remain focused on long-term results. That is what Community. Opportunity. Vision. means to me.
Working for Whitestown
My priorities are reflected not only in what I say, but in the work I have pursued on behalf of our community.
Accessible Local Government
Supported the move to twice-monthly Town Council meetings, giving residents more opportunities to follow local decisions, participate, and share their feedback.
Strategic Investment
Supported the RayzeBio and Bristol Myers Squibb expansion, bringing significant life-sciences investment and new opportunities to Whitestown while strengthening our long-term economic foundation.
Connecting Our Community
Served on Whitestown’s Bike and Pedestrian Plan Steering Committee, working to identify sidewalk and trail gaps and create safer connections between neighborhoods, businesses, parks, and community destinations.
Strengthening Public Safety
Advocated for long-term investments in police, fire, modern facilities, staffing, equipment, and regional training resources as Whitestown continues to grow.
